Your Local Green, Ohio Roofing Company
Green has grown fast over the past few decades, and so have the number of roofs that are now hitting the 20-to-30-year mark on those Riverview Farms ranches and the Colonials off State Route 619. When one of them starts leaking or a hailstorm rolls through Summit County, we are a short run down I-77 from our Akron office on S Main St. You get actual roofers, not a call center. Free inspection, honest estimate, and a 10-year transferable workmanship warranty on every job. We have been at this since 2020 and have replaced around 1,200 roofs across the region, so your Green home is in familiar hands.

Roofing in Green: What to Know
After a storm, look before deciding
Once conditions are safe, check from the ground for missing shingles, fallen branches, or damaged gutters. Photograph what you can see and arrange an inspection if something has changed. A storm passing through Green doesn't establish that your roof needs replacement; ask to see the actual damage and the available repair options.
Winter leaks need more than shingles
Does water show up when snow starts melting? Tell the roofer. Heat escaping into the attic can help create ice buildup at colder roof edges, allowing meltwater to back up beneath shingles. Ask whether attic air sealing, insulation, or ventilation needs attention alongside any repair to the roof covering.
Someone knocked on your door?
Green says permitted door-to-door vendors must wear a city lanyard showing their name, business, and permit expiration. Check that identification if a salesperson approaches you about your roof. Then take time to review the company and its written proposal; the vendor identification is not a roof inspection or proof that work is needed.

What Summit County Homeowners Say
Owner Rodney, Sales Rep Jeremy, and the whole roofing crew were absolutely amazing! First, a very reasonable quote by Rodney. They completed the roof in a day and a half. Meticulous cleanup! A final inspection with the rep to verify satisfaction. Real, courteous professionalism.
I recently had storm damage and HOF came to my rescue! They completed the roof in a day and the siding in another. Big project, done in two days. Jess kept me in the loop the whole time with what was happening. The house looks brand new.
Jessica, Rodney and the entire team at HOF Roofing were excellent to work with. We are extremely grateful that they went above and beyond for us to ensure that our roof was paid for by the insurance company. The crew had the new roof on in one day! Meticulous cleanup and care for our plants.

FAQs
Roofing in Green: Common Questions
Are you licensed and insured?
We are fully bonded and insured, and we are an A+ Accredited Business with the BBB. Worth knowing: Ohio does not actually license roofing contractors, so any company claiming a state roofing license is stretching the truth. What you should look for instead is proof of insurance, a manufacturer certification, and a real track record. We carry all three, including the CertainTeed Select ShingleMaster credential, the highest certification the manufacturer offers. Ask any roofer for their certificate of insurance before you hire. We are always happy to share ours.
Can roof repairs stop leaks permanently?
When the leak is found and fixed correctly, yes. The catch is that a lot of leaks are misdiagnosed: water can travel along the decking and show up far from where it actually got in. We have solved leaks that other companies chased for years because we take the time to trace the real source, not just caulk the wet spot. On a roof with plenty of life left, a proper repair holds. On a roof that is worn out everywhere, repairs become a losing game, and we will tell you so honestly. The diagnosis starts with a free inspection.
Do you offer emergency roof service?
Yes. Our phones are answered 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, with a 100 percent pickup rate, so a real person always picks up, even at 2am after a storm. If you have water actively coming into your home, call us right away and we will get you tarped and protected fast, then come back to do the permanent repair. During the day, callbacks often happen within 5 to 10 minutes. Storm damage only gets worse the longer it sits, so do not wait until morning to reach out.
Do you offer financing?
Yes. We work with Foundation Finance and Acorn Finance to offer flexible plans, and on a typical roof around 9,000 dollars, payments run near 110 dollars a month. The application takes just a few minutes, and roughly 90 percent of applicants with a 550 or higher credit score are approved. Because offers are tailored to each person and change often, we go over your real options in person rather than guessing online. Financing can also help you cover an insurance deductible. We will lay it all out at your free estimate.
Do you remove the old roof or install over it?
We do a full tear-off down to the decking, every time. Layering new shingles over old ones hides problems, adds weight, and shortens the life of the new roof, so we do not do it. Stripping the roof lets us inspect the wood underneath, replace any rotten decking, and start clean. On every replacement we also swap out all the underlayment, soft metals, flashing, and drip edge, not just the shingles. That is the difference between a roof that looks new and a roof that is actually new.
Do you serve my area?
Most likely, yes. We run three offices, in Canton, Akron, and Parma, and our crews cover all of Stark and Summit County plus the surrounding towns every single day. That includes Cleveland, North Canton, Massillon, Green, Louisville, Alliance, Tallmadge, Canal Fulton, Uniontown, and many more. If you are anywhere in Northeast Ohio, there is a good chance we are already working in your neighborhood. Not sure? Just call us and we will tell you straight whether we cover your address. No runaround.
